Who’s Cruisin’ for a Cure this Weekend?

One of Weather NJ’s largest demographics are motorcycle riders which makes sense due to important interests in riding conditions. Therefore we’re honored to provide a special event forecast for this weekend’s Cruisin’ for a Cure. Riders this is a chance to change worlds for the better!

Please join us on Sunday, May 5th for our 7th Annual Frank V. Panzone Jr. Memorial Cruisin’ for a Cure presented by Barlow Buick GMC of Manahawkin. We are honored when a respected business in the community like Barlow Buick GMC shows the trust in David’s Dream & Believe Cancer Foundation (DDBCF) to combine forces in order to support our families affected by a cancer diagnosis.

This is the eighth year for Cruisin’ for a Cure but DDBCF renamed the event in 2013 to honor Frank V. Panzone Jr. Frank was so giving to his community throughout his life and this was on full display even as he battled stage IV cancer. His spirit, determination and courage in the face of indomitable odds are only a couple of the reasons DDBCF is so proud to call this event the Frank V. Panzone Jr Memorial Cruisin for a Cure!

You do not need to ride a bike or own a classic car to enjoy the party at Joe Pop’s Shore Bar and Restaurant in Ship Bottom from 12-4pm.

Adults 17 & Over: $40
Kids 6-16: $15
Children 5 & Under: Free

Each ticket include hot & cold buffet lunch, live music by Ryan Zimmerman and access to the amazing cruisin’ auction.

Special Event Forecast

Ship Bottom, NJ should reach into the low-to-mid 60s for afternoon high temperatures (during main event hours). Periods of rain are likely for most of Sunday morning and possibly some of Sunday afternoon. I know this is a bummer for riding but the party at Joe Pop’s in indoors so don’t let that stop you from attending such a great cause! Winds should be breezy out of the S/SW during event hours.
