Weekend Starts Cold but Moderates (Mar 6-8)
The weekend starts out cold on Friday but moderates through Sunday and into next week. We’re not looking to bad at all. Here’s what to expect in detail:
Friday should reach the mid-to-upper 20s for high temperatures. Skies should be mostly sunny with light winds out of the NW. Overnight lows should range from single digits in NWNJ to low teens in SENJ.
Saturday should reach the mid-to-upper 30s for high temperatures. Expect a mixed bag of sun and clouds as breezy winds switch to the W/SW. Overnight lows then fall into the 20s.
Sunday should range from high-30s in NWNJ to mid-40s for SENJ. Let’s allow a micro-chance of the coastal plain flirting with 50. Expect another mixed bag of sun and clouds with light W/NW winds. Fog could be an issue after sunset. Overnight lows then fall back into the 20s.
An early look at next week indicates highs easily reaching the 50s by midweek with no major storm systems in the cards. I’m working on a new long range article that I’ll likely have out tomorrow morning.
