High pressure is beginning to take control of the New Jersey region. Expect mostly sunny skies today with highs in the lower-80s. Only a small chance of your typical isolated afternoon shower/t-storm and moreso in SNJ. Otherwise it should be a beautiful day with a drier feeling than the pas few days. Winds should be out of the NE at about 5-10mph. Overnight lows should fall into the mid-to-upper 60s statewide.
Tomorrow looks absolutely gorgeous with mostly sunny skies again and highs in the mid-80s. Light winds should switch to a southerly flow (mostly SSW inland and SSE closer to the coast). Overnight lows will bottom out in the upper-60s.
On Sunday, the humidity will return with highs in the mid-to-upper 80s. This will elevate the chances for afternoon showers and thunderstorms. While not storming I’d expect a mixed bag of sun and clouds throughout the day. An early peek at next week indicates more humidity to start the week with a potential stormy period on Tuesday…followed by unseasonably cool period ~Wed-Sat or Sun.
