With the cold front through, dry and sunny conditions are expected for the weekend. Let’s break each day down:
Friday high temperatures should reach the mid-to-upper 80s with a much drier feel. Skies should be mostly sunny. Winds should be light out of the NW. Overnight lows should drop into the 60s for most (lower-70s for the coast).
Saturday high temperatures should reach the mid-to-upper 80s (90 is possible inland). Skies should feature a mixed bag of mostly sun and a few clouds. Winds should be light out of the W/SW. Overnight lows should drop into the 60s for most (lower-70s for the coast).
Sunday high temperatures should reach the mid-to-upper 80s. Humidity should begin trickling back in. Skies should be mostly sunny at least through afternoon-early evening. Winds should be light out of the W. Overnight lows should drop into the 60s for most (lower-70s for the coast) with showers and storms possible after sundown and overnight into Monday.
Note: This time of year, a rogue and isolated pop-up shower or thunderstorm is possible, especially during peak afternoon diurnal heating hours. They affect low-single-digit percentages of the state in terms of geography but someone, some where might be saying, “Ha! Dry and sunny my ***! Wish I was a weatherman so I could be wrong and still get paid….blah.” I give this the absolute smallest chance of happening either Saturday or Sunday. The most likely outcome is a completely dry weekend. I just wouldn’t feel right without mentioning the micro-possibility.
An early look at next week indicates a nice stretch of cooler but sunny weather aside from possible showers and storms Monday.
