Another unsettled weekend is on tap thanks to two passing fronts. Let’s break it down:
Friday (May 13 – eww!) high temperatures should reach the mid-to-upper 60s. 70 is not off the table. Rain and thunderstorms are possible, especially during afternoon-evening hours. Winds should be light to breezy out of the S/SW. Overnight lows should fall into the 50s, maybe 40s for NNJ elevations.
Saturday (May 14) high temperatures should reach the upper-60s/lower-70s. 75 is possible away from the ocean in CNJ and SNJ. More rain and thunderstorms are possible, especially during the afternoon-evening. Winds could be gusty out of the SW. Overnight lows should fall into the 40s statewide.
Sunday (May 15) high temperatures should reach the mid-to-upper 50s. Skies should feature a mixed bag of sun and clouds. Winds should be breezy-to-gusty out of the W/NW. Overnight lows should fall into the 40s statewide.
An early look at next week indicates temperatures around 70 but with a decent amount of cloud coverage. Long range guidance is suggesting 80s ~May 22-forward. Have a great weekend and be safe! JC
