Sunny and Dry Weekend Expected (Dec 4-6)
High pressure has control of the region through the weekend. That will keep us sunny, dry and cool. Let’s break it down:
Friday (Dec 4) high temperatures should top out around 50 statewide. Skies should be mostly sunny. Winds should be light out of the W/NW. Overnight lows should fall into the 20s for interior/elevations and 30s for the rest of New Jersey.
Saturday (Dec 5) high temperatures should also top out around 50 statewide (give or take a few degrees). Skies should be mostly sunny. Winds should be light out of the NW. Overnight lows should fall into the 20s for interior/elevations and 30s for the rest of New Jersey.
Sunday (Dec 6) high temperatures should range from the low-to-mid 50s statewide. Skies should be mostly sunny. Winds should be light out of the W/SW. Overnight lows should fall into the 20s for interior/elevations and 30s for the rest of New Jersey.
An early look at next week indicates clouds increasing by Monday-Tuesday. I’m still watching the possible coastal disturbance (rain and wind) for mid-week. Let’s see where model guidance is on that Sunday night. As of now, the storm is still showing but slightly to our SE which would mean minimal fringe affect.
