Mild Weather Expected (Nov 3-5)

Discussion: The upper levels look to feature above-average height anomalies. This tells me the overall temperature profile should remain on the milder side for this time of year. Aside from an isolated Friday afternoon shower and raw/damp/misty conditions Sunday, the rest of the weekend looks dry. The milder weather is expected to come to an end next week (mid-week) as a trough moves in. From that point-forward, an average temperature profile is expected.

Friday (Nov 3) high temperatures should reach the low-to-mid 70s statewide. Skies should be partly sunny after a foggy morning start. Just a small chance of an isolated afternoon shower. Winds should be light out of the SW. Overnight lows should range from 30s for NNJ elevations to lower-50s for the SNJ coast.

Saturday (Nov 4) high temperatures should reach the mid-to-upper 50s for most. SNJ coastal regions might break into the lower-60s. Skies should be partly-to-mostly sunny. Winds should be breezy out of the E/NE. Overnight lows should fall into the 40s for most with coastal regions likely hanging in the lower-50s.

Sunday (Nov 5) high temperatures should reach the mid-60s statewide. Skies should be partly-to-mostly cloudy with a raw feel. Winds should be light-to-breezy out of the SE. Overnight lows should fall into the upper-50s statewide.

An early look at next week indicates milder conditions lasting through about Nov 6 (Wednesday) followed by temperature conditions more seasonably average from Wednesday-forward. Precipitation interests are currently Tuesday into Wednesday. Let’s take another look on Sunday evening. Have a great weekend and please be safe! JC
