Gorgeous Weekend Expected! (April 17-19)
We might deal with some light rain showers on Friday but Saturday and Sunday are looking, in the style of Larry David, “pretty…pretty…pretty good!” Let’s break it down…
Friday high temperatures should top out in the mid-to-upper 60s. Skies should be mostly cloudy with on-and-off light rain showers. Winds should be light out of the west. Overnight lows should fall into the upper-40s and lower-50s.
Saturday high temperatures should easily break 70 and possibly approach 80. Skies should be mostly sunny (just a few high-altitude clouds) with a 10mph W/NW breeze. Overnight lows should fall back into the 40s (upper-30s for NWNJ elevations).
Sunday high temperatures should reach/just break 60 away from the ocean. A light onshore flow could keep immediate coastal regions in the mid-to-upper 50s (we’ll see). Skies should start out mostly sunny and gradually increase in cloud coverage towards afternoon/evening hours. Overnight lows should drop into the 40s.
An early look at next week indicates widespread rain on Monday followed by a beautiful week of average spring weather.
