The New Roswell? Everything we know about the NJ Drones

Ok, so I’m not a conspiracy theorist, but last night I actually saw one. I took the trash out and when I got to the dark corner of my house, I noticed an aerial vehicle moving very fast to my SE. Had to be at least a few miles over the ocean off Ocean County, about 1,000-2,000 feet above sea level. The aircraft was moving in a steady heading eastward but I didn’t like the additional movement that I was seeing. It seemed irregular and somewhat awkward for a fixed or rotor-winged aircraft. In addition to a heading of E, it was randomly shifting N and S probably 50-100 feet at a time. And as it shifted, there was what looked like a blinker series of lights that would strobe faster when it made the shift. So I definitely observed some kind of aircraft last night that featured irregular navigation lights and irregular flight. Additionally, there was no distant hum of a prop or jet engine.

I’m not sure what these are but I do have a few theories, by order of greatest to least probability:

  1. Military technology testing or training exercises.
  2. Foreign surveillance (hopefully just surveillance).
  3. Passenger taxi drone testing (becoming popular in Europe – smart airports WILL be a thing in the US soon)
  4. Aliens

That’s all I got for possibilities. I am hoping for #1 or #3 because #2 or #4 would be concerning. I wish that any tier of government could shed some light on this and tell us exactly what’s going on. However, I’m seeing multiple tiers of government from local, to county, to state, to federal, asking the public to continue reporting their sightings. This is not very reassuring that it’s #1. And #3 is 5-10 years away minimum. An NJ Senator has called for a limited state of emergency as the NJ drone mystery deepens.

Some more background info leading up to this: Last Wednesday (Dec 4) I was on the GSP northbound commuting to work. An orange USCG chopper flew over my vehicle very low and fast. Couldn’t have been more than a few hundred feet high and was out of my sight within a minute…followed the contour of the GSP exactly as it flew further N. A few days later,  I heard from multiple news sources that authorities were investigating NJ drones that flew in over the Barnegat Light Inlet area and curved around to the N over central NNJ (Morris and surrounding Counties). I gave it a little thought but remained dismissive about any overarching concepts.

From last Wednesday up until last night, the reports of these NJ drones increased in frequency. Many have been saying that some are the size of cars. A simple search on your social media platform of choice for “NJ drones” will verify my observation of such reports.

In my forecasts I present you with evidence-based conclusions working with the best, but incomplete, dataset possible. So I’m not here to hype up the news or ramp up anxieties that the general public may be having right now. As you all know, I take the skies above NJ very seriously.

So I ask you, what do you think they are? Have you seen any official reports from any tier of government that explains what these NJ drones are? Does anyone have an image of these NJ drones that is clearer than a Christmas bulb from 100 miles away? I see some planes and choppers are being mistaken in some photos but have yet to see a clear image of one of these SUV-sized drones. Supposedly one crashed in the South Jersey Pine Barrens but this seems speculative so far…pics or it didn’t happen. What say you? Be safe! JC
